Super touched by this really pretty place generously loaned to me by Aiclay !! If not for her swooping in with her space, I really wouldn't have had the chance to do this! I'll show y'all more of her intricate works later. Gotta set up!
Ready to rock and roll! I can't believe this is happening. I can hear my heart in my ears.
Her studio is so pretty, I have to take advantage so here's my #ootd against her brick wall hehe
I was sooooo madly impressed by her work, y'all. I mean, ITS THE SIZE OF MY NAIL LEH. Srsly I would love to learn how to do this! Hopefully next time if I get a chance to attend one of her workshop.
HELLO?? ANG KU KUEH EARRINGS. Oh lord, I am squealing over all of these.
Aiclay's studio is located within Maddspace which houses music and dance classes as well! It's really crazy convenient seeing how it's just at Scape!
U can also visit her IG @/aiclay to see more of her works and get details on her workshop too!
I arrived 30 mins beforehand to set up the place and by set up, I mean place all the mirrors up. The husband also sent this to his family chat and......
My FIL is hilarious??? HAHAHA I really can't stop laughing at this statement. Should I gift him a mirror
I was honestly super bloody nervous starting. Like I was pretty sure I was gonna say smth stupid and fall flat on my face but once I started talking about makeup, every single ounce of nervousness just faded into the background.
I was glad I didn't went for a bigger crowd! Managed to spend individual time with each girl cause I think certain aspects had to be personalized like contouring.
I think if I hold a workshop next time, I would definitely lessen the amount of participants so it would be even more individualized. Also considering a more advanced course with eye techniques and all!
I love how the space is so open and cause there were dance classes going on, some dance students were just peering into the glass and looking at a ton of girls putting on makeup hahaha
I'm also so grateful the husband took pictures for us!! It's so surreal looking back cause everything went by so fast.
Again, thank u Jocelyn for ur pretty, cosy space! Do check out her work on her IG place cause I guarantee u they are mind-blowingly CUTE!
And it's a wrap!!! I'm apparently super long-winded cause I kinda exceeded the 4 hours.
Thank you all for coming down so early and I really hope u all learned something useful. I had soooo much fun and literally all nervousness faded away the second I started rambling on!
I really wanna drop a quick thank you to everyone who helped me out! CJ, for helping me choose a location and went thru so many options with me. Aiclay's wonderful little space that gave this workshop the push it needed. Laneige for being a part of the goodie bag for the girls. All you ladies who trusted me and believed in me. And lastly, my sweet hubby who told me to go for it. Thank you for a wonderful workshop!
