Compilation reviews: 3 Tosowoong Masks - Green Tea/Blueberry/Aloe
I realize my current way of reviewing sheet masks is much more practical and useful; especially when it's a few different ones under the same brand so I thought I'd regroup my leftover TSW masks together for a review.
So my first impressions of these TSW masks weren't really much of anything and I think it's cause I was so fussed up on the fit.
That's how first impressions with most sheet masks form for me HAHA - fit and material.
Didn't help that these were pretty sturdy and the material was too thick for my liking. Hydration was alright and I just thought they werent anything special.
My initial review is here.
Wah ok sorry I take back my words, TSW.
Despite weird fit and mask material, this gave me a filter blurring effect, calmed my skin down and reduced redness! Can u tell how plump and bright my undereye area to cheekbones are?? 😍
Definitely top of my repurchase list along with the snails one 🙆🏻 I'm gonna take pics for the blueberry and aloe one I'm left with and update when I use them. Thank u @glassfacade for the recommendations!!!
I bought a variety pack off Amazon and it came with 2 Pure Propolis, 2 Pure Green Tea, 2 Pure Blueberry and 2 Pure Snails. I thought it was a good way to try all of it.
So the Pure Snails one blew me away but the rest didn't leave much of an impressions so at this point, I was like, okay let's clear off the rest so I can make space for newer babies.
Then I decided to just quickly snap before/after just to see see lah. Who knew the effects were so nice!
The blueberry one promises whitening (or rather brightening) and I didn't think much of it at first. It did brighten as u can see from the before/after but it didn't give me the blurring effect like the green tea one.
I've started to foldover the edges cause I don't like it when it gets on my hair, especially the roots lah.
I really wish they'd change up the material 🙏🏼
But oh wow the next day, my skin was glowing by itself and I didn't change up anything so it has got to be the mask lah. I didn't even have to use concealer on my skin, just sunblock and tone-up cream! Like my skin was so clear and bright. This was taken with the front camera of my iPhone 6s with no filter!! Dat glow tho. I'm sorry. V captured by it HAHAHAH
This left me with the meh-est impression after trying out two really amazing ones. But I LOVE the scent of this. It's so fresh and relaxing and not too strong at the same time.
It did reduce my redness and hydrated it well but that's pretty much. Don't get me wrong, it's still an amazing mask by any standard. My skin was super soft the next morning!
Okay, I really think this is all! It's not a very active month cause of all the wedding stuff so I apologize.
May is here and I'm all geared up to start location-searching for workshop!! My first one would definitely be a skincare/base makeup one. Would anyone be interested in that! I'm still trying to figure out logistics for eyeshadows cause that's abit tricky.
