#Maskotd: Tony Moly X Pokemon (Pikachu Honey)

So to kickstart this series, I'm gonna review this Tony Moly x Pokémon masks and I'm using the Honey one. My SIL gifted these to me and I've been waiting for my skin to calm tf down so I can try new stuff!

I finally threw these on after my intense research into sheet-masking. Intense is the word.

Oh yes I was using an eyepatch but I'll talk about that later.

I like how SWAP (snowwhiteandtheasianpear is really long) and the other k-beauty bloggers show their routine. It helped me like mad when I was researching so I thot I would show y'all my layering technique. I'm not calling myself a k-beauty blogger btw HAHAHA I'm just saying this really helped me when I was reading and referring to what she was talking about.

PM Routine (hydration)
1. Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
2. Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Facial Cleanser + Foreo mini
3. CNP Invisible Peeling Boost (entire face) + LRP Effaclar K on tzone
4. Laneige Skin Refiner (Moisture) on cheeks
5. Laneige Water Bank Essence_EX on cheeks
6. Tony Moly x Pokémon Mask Sheet (Honey)
7. Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Liquid

Notice how the mask is on my nose this time and I mentioned how I would cut it away cause I didn't want extra stuff clogging my pores? Well turns out that masks are pretty good for softening SF! I really dk if this is true tho so I'll update this part!

I left the mask on for about 15 mins and they started drying. There wasn't a lot of leftover essence in the packet as well so I'm sad cause I wanted to reuse the essence for spot-masking.

When I removed the mask, I patted the essence in till it got tacky then I let the rest sink in for about 10 mins. After that, I applied and sealed in all the hydration with Dr. Jart Ceramidin Liquid.

But after everything sunk in, my skin felt pretty good! The honey scent was pretty delicious too!

Bare-skin taken after with the 6s back camera.

The redness in my skin subsided cause the mask was pretty cooling and my skin felt sooooooft. Pretty standard mask effect. Though the tackiness doesn't really disappear so better to use this at night.

My mind was pretty set that I won't be repurchasing this but I decided to see how my skin looks in the morning. Let the essence work haha

But omg I think my skin liked it a lot more than I did. This is taken this morning barefaced!

I think it's the hydration. Is sheet masking might be the way to keep my skin bouncy and QQ at all times.

This morning, after I wash my face and throw on my regular stuff, I noticed that I was glowing. Like, look at my cheeks. My skin tone pretty much looked the same but man, my skin was super clear!!

And tmi but boobs hurting = start of PMS = crazy skin BUT LOOK AT MY SKIN!

The surface just seemed so much more plump upclose. Idk if it's really this mask per say or just I got my hydration layers right this time.

Oh yes, I was trying out this eye mask and omg pls I got a shock when my sheet mask started to turn green.

So I looked at the ingredients and at first, I thot it was from the cucumber extract but I saw blue and yellow coloring in it. Ew no lah pls. It stained my skin a'lil but I removed it fast so it's fine but why tho?? Why u put coloring in my mask??

Okay, I'll be trying the Baulbasaur one tonight. Will review it for next #maskmonday ! Sheetmasks don't really require a two-week test period lah imo, esp since I'm more into hydrating masks and not any masks with special 'abilities'.

All the pictures are taken with the iPhone 6s back camera so hashtag no filter. I will never do skincare reviews with filters okay just fyi so don't worry about that.
