Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment
Eeks! So excited to try this out. I got this on Qoo10 but I forgot the price 🙊 My dad helped me with it and it think it's 30 plus??
I saw a review on Refinery29 and obvs it was a paid review but I was sold. The writer claimed that this product led to her not using any foundations for months! Let's see how it works out later!
I skipped sunblock, primer and foundation and I'm really rather impressed! My redness all subsided and my surface is smoothed out significantly.
Gonna see how it holds up the entire day. But it feels REALLY light!
I'm just really red all the time; esp with Singapore's weather. It's just so hot and my face flushed really easily.
It's obviously still not enough to cover blemishes but great for evening out skintone!
And my #fotd

So I've been reaching for this and wearing it for at least 10 hours so I think I can give my quick opinion!
I first saw this - Dr. Jart+ Derma Green-Cure Solution Recover on Refinery29 and when the writer said she hasn't touch her foundation in months because of this, I NEEDED to try it.
I went to Sephora and they didn't carry it in store for Singapore (not sure online) so after googling, I found it on Qoo10! I think it was going for $30+ (Sozz can't recall exact amount)
Also, I think this is selling as Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment on Sephora. I'm not sure if it's the same product or perhaps a reformulated one but ingredients looked pretty similar.
So it contains a whole bunch of skin-friendly ingredients and is mainly for skin redness or irritation and u wanna even that out without piling on foundation.
It comes in this tub of green-ish tint and upon blending, changes into skin color.
I find that the color-changed shade somehow works to my exact skin shade and idk if I'm lucky or this thing is pretty adaptable.
The review from Refinery29 also mentioned that it pretty much blends and suits her skin shade so izzit smart technology?? I'm not very sure 🤔
Back of my hand was stained with tints I was swatching the night before and as u can see, the product after blending, toned down and neutralized the redness a whole bunch.
The product immediately calms my redness down but it doesn't have the ability to fully cover up blemishes. If u want to cover a zit or a scar, a concealer is still needed.
Upon application, I can immediately feel that my skin is smoother & I checked - yes, there IS dimethicone in the ingredient list so I guess the silicon gives the smoothing effect. This also comes with SPF30/PA++ which y'all know what I'm gonna say - NOT ENOUGH
I do still use sunblock right after skincare first. Now instead of going in with primer and foundation, I just use this immediately. Then I go in with my other products - contour, blush, highlight and I definitely still set everything with powder.
Skincare > Sunblock > Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Re-cover
Idk how it does on its own but with setting powder, I find that it holds up pretty well throughout the day and I can always still see my highlight & contour at the end of the day still.
I don't find this product irritating my skin, making it drier or any oilier. In fact, as it settles in throughout the day, it holds up pretty well and looks good even tho some of my natural oil comes through. It doesn't crack up like regular foundation/base.
Overall, this is my HG for now and I haven't actually used a primer/foundation in over two weeks!
