Catrice Blush Artist Shading Palette - Swatches!
So I have seen these Catrice Blush Artist Shading Palettes online and I really wanted to buy them instead of ordering online. I kept going to multiple Catrice stands in Guardian and I just knew the one in Ngee Ann has it and I was right!
So there's a total of 3 palettes!
- CorAll I Need
- Rose n Rock
Each palette has 2 obvious blush shades (1 shimmer and 1 matte) and one highlighter or blush topper. The colors are all matched, including the highlighter shade. Retails for SGD$7.90 at selected Guardians!
Straight up, it's pretty much something I don't normally pick up cause of the shades as I gravitate towards a lot of pinks.
This has warm apricot tones in it & the first blush shade is a matte reddish brown.
The second blush shade comes in a peachy-gold shimmer shade. This is the hardest to work with and it's pretty chalky imo.
Lastly, the highlight is a peach-champagne shade, which is pretty easy to work with and I can see it as a pretty day-to-day highlight!
Weirdly, this has pinkier tones than I expected. Out of all 3, if you want to choose 1, this is a good beginner blush palette cause of the pinks in it.
Also, it's the easiest palette to work with as well after swatching all 3.
This 2nd one comes with coral tones as the palette name suggest, but definitely with more pinks.
The first blush shade in this palette is an almost pinkish berry with golden shimmer. The second one is a matte coral pink. The highlight which also looks like a blush topper and has a peach-golden undertone!
This third one here might just be my favorite cause as the name suggests, the rose-shades sold me.
The first one is a very slight coralish-pink with shimmer in it. The second one however, is this beautiful matte rose shade. This shade is super love.
Oddly enough, the highlight is a cool-tone pink. Odd because the two blush shades are so warm leh. But I think it's the prettiest highlight out of the three!
To me personally, these are good and cheap everyday products.
Blushes are not pigmented but I like that cause I get to control the buildup without accidentally looking like a clown.
Out of all three, no. 2/3 are the easiest to work with. No 1 might be good for tanner skin tones but even the second blush is kinda weird to play around with on either skin color.
Again, they are only $7.90 so it's perfectly awesome to me!
